The 112th chapter in the Quran is known as Surah Al Ikhlas. Al-Ikhlas is an Arabic word that means purity, sincerity, honesty, integrity, fidelity, and faithfulness. Also known as the Declaration of God’s Unity and Al-Tawhid, this chapter has four verses which focus on the unity of God. Virtues of Surah Al Ikhlas
As per a scholar At-Tirmidhi and Darami, by reciting Surah Ikhlas 200 times every day, 50 years of minor sins will be forgiven. However, it doesn’t imply that any loan that is yet to be re- paid will be forgiven. And also, Allah will grant him 1500 rewards.
One who recites Surah Al Ikhlas 1,000 times, will not die unless he sees his place in Jannat.
As narrated by Abu Hurairah: In the two Rak’ah before the Fajr prayer, the Prophet used to recite that, disbelievers say, Allah is one.
In a hadith of the Prophet Muhammad mentioned that when we recite Surah Fatiha and Surah Al Ikhlas while lying on the bed, you will be safeguarded, and you will become fearless of everything except death.
Narrated by al-Bukhaari, that Aaishah reported, when the Prophet went to bed, he would cup his hands together and blow into them, he would then recite, Surah Al Ikhlas, Surah al-Falaq and Surah al-Naas. Then he would wipe his body as much as he could with his hands, starting with his head and face, and the front of his body. He would repeat this process three times.
